Miha is multilayered artist from Ljubljana, Slovenia and in the past couple of years he has developed into an amazing producer of techno music. He releases music under his alias Shekuza and it seems Miha has really found his groove because high quality music has been steadily coming out of his studio. He has released two very distinct albums De Sica and Coriolis effect on Kamizdat, an EP called Floorcuts on Slovenian techno output Technopolis and he is a regular appearance on the annual dub techno compilation Chilli Space. Perhaps an even more impressive achievement are his live sets with which he has opened the eyes of a wider public in Kino Šiška events, either providing an opening act for more renown guests or taking the center stage himself. We visited him in his studio to talk about his early days and how he got interested in electronic music. Currently Miha is one of the leading modular techno producers in the region. He creates his music with a modular synthesizer, now already a two-box setup and we discussed a lot about his approach, how he got started, what inspires him, what are the challenges of modular synthesis and the many advantages such an approach brings to the table. Together with like-minded producers they are paving the way for future generations of producers via their collective called Clockwork Voltage.

For our first guest of the Muzičarna podcast we have invited Tine Vrabič a.k.a. Nitz who was one of our guests in the 2024 season. Tine is a familiar face to all clubbers and electronic music lovers for more than a decade now. He has started as a promoter, worked as a club manager and he was part of the Synaptic crew which is responsible for many amazing parties and club nights. In recent years Tine has organized several events with ambiental music called AmbientSoup, he was running a regular radio show on Radio Študent and started a club night CLSTRFNK with friends Evano and Nulla.
All these years he was steadily developing his style as a dj, producer and live performer. His origins can be drawn back to early dub techno, electro and IDM and these genres' roots can be recognized in his music which navigates between dreamy and melancholic melodies, quirky and playful sounds together with experimental and innovative drum works. Tine's great effort and creativity was recognized also abroad with several amazing shows and recorded podcasts bearing the mark and today he is represented by the Ring of Neptune Agency.
We are very proud to have him on our show as the first guest and are excited for what lies ahead of his career. To ease you into the hour long conversation we will hear one of Tine's new and unreleased tracks called Vortex which holds his signature style of something that steams on the border of house, electro and IDM. To finish off the podcast we have a short cut of his live ambient performance at one of the recent Kamzidat label nights. Tune in and enjoy!
